The club itself is located in a secluded and tranquil position on the edge of the village recreation ground, providing the perfect setting for a day's bowling. We also take particular pride in our playing surface, a 6-rink green that is carefully maintained to provide an excellent playing surface throughout the season.

Ample seating both inside and outside ensures there is plenty of scope to spectate and to socialise before, during and after play. Men's and ladies' changing rooms and newly installed toilet facilities provide the other necessities to ensure your visit is one to remember for the right reasons!

Please be aware that, with the exception of registered assistance dogs, dogs are not permitted within the club or the wider recreation ground, as in accordance with the terms of our lease.

AND THERE'S MORE...

South Petherton is a lovely village with a lively pub, fine-dining restaurant and a vibrant arts venue. South Petherton is also home to a popular annual Folk Festival, a day long festival of live music and performances at different venues within the village. Free to attend, it is usually held on the 2nd or 3rd Saturday of June. If you are staying locally, the David Hall also has a regular programme of live music evenings throughout the year. Slightly further afield, theatres in Taunton and Yeovil also offer full and varied programmes of evening entertainment.

If you are just visiting for the day but your members would be interested in seeing beyond the bowling green, we could also try to incorporate a tour of this ancient and charming village.
